1ο Workshop “Working creatively with attachment issues and developmental trauma”

An understanding of attachment theory, underpinned by neuroscience is a key component of a developmental, relational approach to working with children. In this workshop Joanna will explore the importance of being familiar with our personal attachment styles and recognizing those of our child clients in order that we can be fully present. We will also look at ways of working creatively with children and careers to address insecure attachment issues and related trauma, remembering that, as Siegel says, ' It is important to attend to our own oxygen mask first before we help others'.
